Shooting Sports Commitee
Shooting Sports Committee
The Piedmont Council adheres to the Boy Scouts of America’s longstanding policy of shooting programs based on age appropriateness and safety with the goal of developing a positive shooting experience for each youth.
From Cub Scouting to Scouts BSA to Venturing to Sea Scouting, all program divisions use responsible outdoor activities to promote character development and values-based leadership training. Shooting sports have the ability to attract and retain youth in the movement. Millions of young people participate in one or more of the sports annually guided by adult volunteers who have the training and knowledge to provide quality programs in a safe and effective way.
To receive information about upcoming events and training opportunities, volunteer with shooting sports at district and/or council events, submit your training certifications, or express interest in joining the Shooting Sports Committee
