Fund Development
The Piedmont Council conducts a number of fundraising and support campaigns to fund the program delivery mission of the Boy Scout of America. Scouting is 100% locally supported, there are no government, local, state or federal funds earmarked to support Scouting. The annual membership fee paid by every member of the Boy Scouts of America is channeled directly to the National Council to cover the costs of program development, literature creation, and technology services.
The Piedmont Council relies on the financial and in-kind support of our Scouting families and Friends of Scouting to keep the Scouting promise of fun, adventure, and education.
