Foothills District Scout Oyster Roast Fundraiser

The Foothills District of the Boy Scouts of America cordially invites you to our 10th Annual Oyster Roast Social, an evening dedicated to supporting the mission of Scouting in our community. This special event will take place on Friday, May 9th, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at Cedar Rock Country Club, located at 2065 Cedar Rock Estates, Lenoir, NC.

The Piedmont Council, which serves over 4,000 youth, remains one of our most valued community organizations. We are excited to come together in support of Scouting and hope to raise more than $12,000 to benefit Scouting programs in Caldwell, Burke, and McDowell Counties.

We are thrilled to have Joe Delk and his team of “shuckers” bringing their renowned oyster-roasting expertise, with Ronda Taylor of The Car Source of Lenoir providing the oyster cooker and assisting in making the event a success. Additionally, Cedar Rock Country Club will offer fried chicken wings for our non-oyster-loving guests. Enjoy live music by Phillip Page as we gather for an evening of great food and camaraderie!
