Foothills--Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops

January 16th-17th, the Foothills District will be offering an Introduction to Leadership Skills for Troops (ILST) course. This is a great opportunity for Scouts with leadership positions, or soon to hold leadership positions, to learn about how youth-led troops operate. This course is also a prerequisite for National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) that is offered during the summer.

**Check-in will begin at 6pm on Friday at the Valdese Scout Center (213 Massel Ave SE, Valdese, NC 28690).

**Cost is $10, paid on arrival, and will cover cracker barrel Friday night, and breakfast and lunch on Saturday. Please inform us if your Scout has a food allergy.

**Camping will be optional Friday night.

**Class will start at 7:00pm on Friday, and resume at 9:00am Saturday, running through Saturday afternoon.
