Cub Scout Advancement Day

Come join us for a fun-filled, exciting STEM-based day as your scout gets to explore and learn different things!

We will be holding our 2026 Cub Scout Advancement Day at the Gaston College - Lincoln Campus. 

Check-in will begin at 8:30am prior to the opening ceremony.  The event will be completed by 12:00pm. 

There will be a 15-minute break between each class which will allow time for snacks if your scout chooses to bring any. Please make sure your scout brings a water bottle to use throughout the morning. 

Each scout will have the opportunity to earn two electives toward their advancements. 

Parents/Guardians MUST accompany their scouts at this event.

Cost is $15 per scout; meals will NOT be provided at this event. We hope to see you there!

Here is the schedule for the day:

8:30 - 9:00 am - Registration followed by opening ceremony
9:00 - 9:45 am - First adventure
9:45 - 10:00 am - 15 minute break
10:00 - 10:45 am- Second adventure
11:00 - End - Awards presentation of belt loops/pins
