"Down on the Farm" Virtual Cub Scout Day Camp 2020

Our 2020 Virtual Cub Scout Day Camp will offer all Cub Scouts across the nation a fun, exciting, and productive week of Scouting for all boys and girls entering 1st through 5th grade.

1. SCOUTS CAN CHOOSE FROM TWO DIFFERENT WEEKS (SAME PROGRAM EACH WEEK). 

2. SCOUTS WILL COMPLETE TWO RANK SPECIFIC SCOUT ADVENTURES (SEE BELOW).

3. CREATE DAILY CRAFTS! SING CAMP SONG! VISIT LOCAL FARMS!

Week Two: Monday - Thursday, July 27th - 30th, 2020 

Morning or Afternoon Sessions Available Both Weeks (CHOOSE ONE) 

8:30 A.M. – 11:30 A.M. (Morning Session) OR 1 P.M. – 4 P.M. (Afternoon Session)

12-12:45 P.M.: Lunch (Flag Ceremony, Song, and Field Trip Farm Visits) - FOR ALL YOUTH BOTH WEEKS!

Individual Scout Adventures & Daily Crafts

Tigers: Safe & Smart & Stories & Shapes  OR  Wolves: Germs Alive! & Grow Something  OR  Bears: Beat of the Drum & Critter Care  OR  Webelos & Arrow of Light: Game Design & Art Explosion

Daily Craft Projects (FOR ALL YOUTH): Monday: Wooden Bird Feeder  AND  Tuesday: Sponge Grass Seed Barn  AND  Wednesday: Farm Stone Painting  AND  Thursday: Compass Neckerchief Slide

Cost: $55.00: includes all supplies, crafts, a t-shirt and a patch shipped directly to your home.

Your family’s safety is our top priority during this time (all shipments will be packed in full PPE gear).

Recommended Attire: Cub Scouts are encouraged to wear their day camp themed t-shirt every day during virtual day camp. 

Registration will start on June 1st, 2020 through Sunday, June 28th, 2020. This due date ensures adaquate time for our council to gather and prepare all the necessary supplies for your adventures. The following directions (below) will help guide you to login to your individual account designed for parents.  (If you don't have an account go to www.piedmontcouncilbsa.org in the top right hand corner and click on create an account.  Create an individual account with parents contact information.)

  1. After you have created your account, go to "Manage Group" on the right hand side; add youth by entering your scout(s) information here. Click on "Events", click on "Down on the Farm Virtual Cub Scout Day Camp", then choose your scout's desired week.
  2. Add your participant(s), choose the correct session that accomodates your schedule, and you can pay directly online (a 2.5% bank fee will be added at check-out).
  3. Required information to register includes: your Cub Scout first / last name, address, D.O.B., phone, email, pack number, t-shirt size, and / or gender.
