The Piedmont Council is pleased to announce that this summer it will be hosting a Cub Scout Twilight Camp. This unique opportunity is a wonderful hybrid, combining both the fun and excitement of a traditional Cub Scout Day Camp experience with a more economical evening alternative to better accommodate the schedules of our incredible adult leaders, volunteers, and parents. This council wide event is open to all rising 1st through 5th grade Cub Scouts and their parents. Twilight Camp activities will include BB Guns & Archery, Arts and Crafts, and everything else that you would expect at a traditional day camp event.

All rising 1st Graders (registered as Tigers) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Both the rising first grader and the parent/guardian must be registered on the same entry. Parents of any rising 2nd Graders (Wolf), rising 3rd Grader (Bear), rising 4th Grader (Weblos), and/or rising 5th Graders (Arrow of Light) are not required to attend the event with their scouts; parents of these ages levels are encouraged to participate in this event.

The Theme for Twilight Camp is ‘Dinos’!

  • Archery and BB elective requirements will be covered.
  • Have scouts wear closed toe shoes and bring a water bottle.
  • Have scouts wear bug spray and sunscreen.
  • Scouts will be served an evening meal each evening around 6:00pm.
  • Drop-off and pick-up will be in the Fellowship Hall each evening
  • Scouts will be ready for pick-up at 8:15 pm each evening.
  • On Friday Night at 7:15pm we will have a closing ceremony and all families are invited to attend.

Any parent(s) / guardian(s) that would like to attend and participate in the activities with their Cub Scout(s) will need to register online, and there will be a $_____ fee to help cover the cost of their supplies, snacks and meals.

Everyone that registers for this event will be required to submit a current Medical Form (Part A & B) when they check-in on Wednesday, June _____.

*Volunteers can attend Twilight Camp for free! Any parent and/or guardian that would like to help as a volunteers at this event will not be charged the $________ registration fee. Adults that are currently registered as Scout Leaders (with a current YPT certification) are also more than welcome to attend the event as a volunteer and will not be charged a registration fee. All volunteers are required to register in advance via the Twilight Camp Volunteer Sign-Up Form.
