The Piedmont Council is happy to announce the continued partnership with Winterplace Ski Resort! Mark your calendars for Sunday, February 22nd, 2026 and make plans to register today!  Winterplace Ski Resort is located in Ghent, West Virginia; just a short drive up I-77. Winterplace Ski Resort offers some of the BEST skiing in the eastern United States. Everyone is invited to participate as this event is open to all Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, and Explorers.  In fact, you don't even need to be a registered scout to get this AMAZING deal.  Download the flyer now and share with your friends, family, and neighbors. Winterplace Ski Resort is offering everyone who registers an ALL-DAY lift ticket, skis or a snowboard, boots, poles, a helmet, and a 90 minute lesson ALL for just the low price of $80.00!!

Don't like to ski/snowboard or looking for something different to do; maybe something more relaxed, Winterplace has an excellent tubing park located on-site with two great options avaialble to the Piedmont Council:

• Snow Tubing 2-Hour and 45 Minute Session: $35 (9:00-11:45 AM, 3:00-5:45 PM, or 6:00-8:45 PM)
• Snow Tubing All Day Session: $60 (9:00 AM-8:45 PM)
