“Beaver Day” also called “Camp Day of Service” at Camp Bud Schiele is open to all troops. While the Eswau Huppeday OA lodge helps to run this event, all troops are encouraged to attend and help prepare CBS for another summer season. You can attend for the day only or spend 1 or 2 nights. The OA is hoping for another record attendance and is trying to make it as easy as possible for you or your troop to attend. As always we are offering lunch and a patch for those attending if they will register. While everybody got something to eat in 2017, we did run out of food with the record attendance. This year we are offering to provide breakfast for a small fee of $5.00. You will need to register at least a week in advance. We know it is hard to get exact numbers and can work with small adjustments, but we will require registration in advance so that we can plan for the food and people needed to provide the meals.
We plan to meet at the quarter master building by 9:00 to start work and finish work projects by 4:00. Possible work projects could include: building picnic tables, cleaning and staining tent platforms and tables, cleaning debris off roofs, cleaning ditches, clearing downed tree limbs, and painting.
