2026 Lakeland District Banquet

Our Lakeland District Annual Awards Banquet will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 6:30 PM at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church in Sherrills Ford, NC. The address is: 4136 Mt Pleasant Rd, Sherrills Ford, NC 28673. The banquet is being held in lieu of the April Roundtable.

Thanks to Troop 327 for agreeing to host the banquet and for agreeing to prepare the food again for this year’s banquet. Cost for the banquet is $20 per person. Banquet registrations are due by Thursday, April 9, 2026.

Downloads for nomination forms for the District Award of Merit and the other Lakeland District Awards (Cubmaster of the Year, Scoutmaster of the Year, Den Leader, etc.) are available on this page. A fillable PDF version of the District Awards form is available along with a pdf version (a word version of the DAM form is not available). These awards are to recognize our leaders' service for 2025. Please share these awards forms with your leaders and parents. We can not present awards without nominations and need everyone’s help to do this. There are many deserving leaders out there who we should be recognizing. Help us to do recognize these deserving individuals. Award nominations should be sent to Dan Schumann by Friday, April 2nd, 2026 by e-mailing him at tus497@gmail.com.
