and Silver Beaver Honoree Recognitiions

As a part of the National BSA Strategic PLan, the Piedmont Council fully subscribes to the desire to inscrease the number of engaged, accountable volunteers at all levels of Scouting and includes:
 Recgonizing  those volunteers who are already involved in Scouting.   Increasing the number of Centennial Quality Councils, Districts, and Units. 

The Piedmont Council would like to extend an enthusiastic thank you and applause for the selfless gifts of time and resources that our volunteers provide.  The Piedmont Council volunteers is simply priceless and your efforts deserve appripriate recognition.  Please mark your calendar now for February 24 to attend the Annual Volunteer Appreciation Banquet.  We will recognize the efforts of our Quality Districts and Service Areas, and several outstanding volunteers from across the Piedmont Council will be recognized as Silver Beaver Areas, and several outstanding volunteers as Silver Beaver recpients.  Special Awards will be presented for outstanding efforts in the areas of financial mangament, district operations, membership growth and council activitiess.

Deadline for registration is February 19, 2010 and the fee will again be $18.00  Deadline for registration is February 19th .
