Let me extend to you a very cordial invitation to participate in the Piedmont Council 2010 Centennial Rendezvous.  This jamboree-style activity will involve thousands of Scouts and leaders from across the eleven county area of the Piedmont Council.  This council wide camping event (last held in 2003) represents Piedmont's final celebration event of The 100 Year Anniversary of the BSA.  An event your Scouts won't want to miss.

The Leader's Guide contains all the information your unit will need in order to fully participate in the activities of Rendezvous 2010.  Please read carefully.  October is just around the corner, and I hope you are already making plans for your Scout Troop, Cub Scout Pack, Venture Crew or Explorer Post to participate in this great event.

I am very excited about my involvement with the Centennial Rendezvous.  The enthusiasm and efforts of the 200 plus volunteer committee helping coordinate this event promise you an exciting program that will give participants a life-long memory.  I look forward to seeing you at Rendezvous 2010.
