The Piedmont Council meets all partnership criteria as a member of the United Way.  This BBB Accredited charity meets all applicable standards for Charity Accountability.
Additional information regarding the BBB certification please see the United Way tab under Support Scouting.  The Piedmont Council's volunteer and professional leadership as well as it's program and fincancial operation is identified throughout this web site.

The Piedmont Council has an annual independent accounting audit as well as renewel of the current year Charter with the National BSA organization. In 2007 the Piedmont Council received an unqualified audit opinion (the highest accounting standard) by the Owensby Accouting firm.
