Junior Ranger Day at Kings Mountain National Military Park
I would like to get the word out to local Boy Scout troops about Kings Mountain National Military Park's Junior Ranger Day, which is happening on Saturday, April 26th. Youth will have the opportunity to learn about and try out some of the jobs that rangers do in the National Park Service: interpretation, museum curator, law enforcement, wildland firefighting, and living history. Participants will earn a Junior Ranger badge and Junior Ranger Day certificate. If anyone is interested or needs more information, please give me a call at 864-936-7921 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.

New BSA Health Medical Record Effective March 1, 2014.
In preparation for the summer camp season, we are rolling out a new, simplified annual health and medical record effective March 1, 2014. Thanks to many employees and volunteers who provided constructive feedback on how we could make the record easier to use while still collecting the information needed to make sure our Scouts are ready for their experience. To learn more, we invite you to participate in a webinar on April 4 at 1 p.m. Central time. On April 4, log on to http://www.livestream.com/bsanationalcouncil.
